Description:

The Sensors Alive app is a component of the Sensors Alive experimental kit. It is essential to utilize the Sensor Pods and Base Station from the experimental kit in conjunction with the app to access all of its functions.

Delve into the World of Physics!

Demystify complex physics concepts such as light, sound, and heat like never before with this innovative sensor physics laboratory gamification. At the heart of this scientific kit lies an app-based video game where you leverage real-world sensor data collected from your surroundings to bring forth a diverse array of creatures. Engage in creating, nurturing, interacting with, and looking after your creatures within the app.
 
Immerse yourself in a virtual bioengineering laboratory within the game, assuming the role of a scientist who employs data readings gathered from three physical sensor pods external to the game. These readings are then transmitted into the game through the base station. The sensor data functions as determinants for the unique attributes your bioengineered creatures will possess.
 
For instance, a low temperature measurement may result in a creature adorned with long hair for warmth, while a high temperature could give rise to scaly skin resembling a lizard. Likewise, capturing low light levels from the light sensor might produce a creature with enlarged eyes for enhanced vision in darkness, and a high sound level reading might lead to a creature featuring diminutive ears.

Additional attributes are directly manipulated via settings within the app. The combination of these variables yields an extensive variety of creatures you can generate.

Continue utilizing sensors to obtain data enabling you to nurture your creatures, engage with them, feed them, create habitats for them, spawn more creatures — all while honing an inherent understanding of the diverse measurements you conduct using the sensors. Through interactions with the three sensor pods, you will gain proficiency in measuring light levels, volumes, and temperatures, while also enhancing your knowledge of the underlying physics principles related to light, sound, and heat.
